Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 – $1,700
• Location: Vicksburg, MS (zip 39183) — Mississippi travel nurse / Mississippi nursing jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends — night shift ICU RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Nurse, ICU RN, Critical Care Nurse)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license (state of practice required)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Key Responsibilities (ICU Nursing)

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, clinical support) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and support unit staffing needs
