Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay (Travel Nurse): $2,020 - $2,130
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am), travel night shift, every other weekend required
• Call Requirements: 2 x 12-hour call shifts every 6 weeks (one must be a weekend shift)
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (13 beds) — L&D, perinatal, postpartum
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• EMR / Documentation: CPN (GE) and Cerner experience
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D, perinatal nursing, intrapartum/postpartum)
• At least 1 previously completed travel assignment in Labor & Delivery (travel nurse experience preferred)
• Active RN license (must meet facility/state requirements)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• CPN and Cerner experience preferred (electronic fetal monitoring and EMR documentation)
• Must be able to pass an EKG test

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients
• Perform fetal monitoring, assessment, and competent triage for patients 20 weeks and up
• Circulate and assist in the OR for cesarean sections and support vaginal deliveries
• Communicate effectively with obstetric providers, anesthesia, pediatric/neonatal teams, and multidisciplinary staff
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care
• Delegate patient care priorities, supervise assigned personnel, and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Document care accurately in CPN (GE) and Cerner according to facility policies
