- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 – $1,630
- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN) – Travel
- Location: Bowling Green, KY (zip 42104) — Bowling Green healthcare jobs / Kentucky travel nurse
- Unit: Telemetry (36 beds) — cardiac telemetry / remote monitoring
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract
- Dress Code: Any scrubs except camo
- Scheduling: Every other weekend required
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry / acute care)
- Active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Advanced skills: chest tube knowledge and dysrhythmia training
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care for telemetry patients using remote telemetry monitoring
- Manage patient assignments up to 6:1 (may occasionally stretch to 7:1)
- Perform and assist with procedures including chest tube care, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Collaborate with PCTs and unit clerks to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Float to Ortho/Med-Surg units as needed to support staffing and patient flow
- Adhere to Telemetry Monitoring and Stroke policies and promote best practices in telemetry nursing
- Contribute to a positive team environment — unit recognized with Daisy, Bee, and STAR awards
- Work toward achieving patient satisfaction goals (target: 75% patient satisfaction rate)
