• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Location: Crown Point, Indiana (46307) — Indiana travel nurse / nursing jobs
• Setting: Level III NICU, 25 beds
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 36 hours/week
• Weekend Shifts: As assigned
• On-Site Position: Yes

Required Qualifications (NICU RN / Travel Nurse)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience (neonatal critical care experience)
• Experience with IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP, and ventilator management preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR documentation preferred
• Ability to float to postpartum unit as needed
• Team player, adaptable to changes in patient assignments
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs on-site

Responsibilities (Neonatal Nurse / NICU RN)

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based neonatal nursing care to neonates of varying gestational ages and acuity levels
• Monitor and manage neonates using Bubble CPAP, ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
• Participate in delivery room stabilization and assist with neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Perform IV insertions and manage central lines per unit protocol
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to postpartum unit as needed to support patient flow and staffing
• Maintain a positive, supportive attitude and assist colleagues during high-acuity or busy shifts
