Job Details

• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) / ER RN (Travel)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Indiana travel nursing job)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
• Work Setting: On-site in a busy Emergency Department

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room (ED) nursing experience in a large, high-volume ED
• Active RN license (state requirements apply)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and triage skills
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to float based on departmental needs and skill set

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a 65-bed Emergency Department
• Manage patient ratios: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
• Operate and troubleshoot clinical equipment including Alaris pumps, Philips monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
• Perform triage, assessments, interventions, and monitor critical patients
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and promptly using Epic EMR
• Follow department dress code (navy blue scrubs) and professional standards
