Travel ER Registered Nurse (ER RN) — Indianapolis, IN (46237). 13-week travel contract for experienced Emergency Department nurses with ACLS/PALS; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890
- Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Indianapolis healthcare / Indiana nursing jobs)
- Role: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Department Nurse
- Setting: Emergency Department (65 beds)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Option: Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; every other weekend required
- Travel Contract: On-site (travel nurse assignment)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a large ED
- Active RN license
- Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills to manage fluctuating patient volumes
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred (Epic documentation experience valuable for ER nurses)
- Ability to float according to skill set
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care as an Emergency Department nurse in a busy ER
- Manage patient ratios: Shock (2:1), Core (4:1), Psych (3:1), Exam (6:1)
- Use clinical equipment such as Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, techs, and support staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to facility dress code (navy blue scrubs)
