Job Details – Endoscopy RN / Travel RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 12, 2026)
• Location: Buffalo, NY (Downtown, 14203) — New York nursing jobs / Western New York
• Setting: Endoscopy Unit (3 procedure rooms) — endoscopic procedures, GI unit
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM; 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Week: Rotates Thursday – Wednesday
• Weekends/Holidays: None
• On-Call: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs

Job Requirements – Endoscopy Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with current endoscopy procedure experience (EGD, colonoscopy preferred)
• Active and clear New York State RN license
• BLS certification required
• GI/endoscopy background preferred (endoscopy RN, GI nurse, endoscopic nursing experience)

Key Responsibilities – Endoscopy RN / Clinical Nursing Duties

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and continuously monitor patient status and vitals
• Prepare, maintain, and ensure proper function and sterile setup of endoscopy rooms and equipment
• Perform pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and post-procedure recovery care
• Document patient information, procedure details, and recovery notes accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members—GI techs, physicians, anesthesia, and other nursing staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
