- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,860
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Shift: 3x12-hour days (Thursday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36

Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required (hospital/acute care preferred)
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — MR certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license (state licensure required)
- Experience with Siemens Espree MRI scanner preferred
- Ability to produce high-quality MRI imaging with minimal supervision and strong attention to image quality and safety
- Familiarity with age-specific imaging criteria (neonates to geriatrics)
- IV start and contrast administration experience preferred
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience documenting imaging studies in Epic or similar EMR systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, consistent with hospital protocols
- Operate Siemens Espree and related MRI equipment; follow safety and QA procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Start peripheral IVs when required and ensure patient safety and monitoring during imaging
- Perform image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction, MIP, MRP) and produce diagnostic T1/T2 weighted, diffusion, and gradient echo images
- Document procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in Epic and departmental reporting systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, state, and hospital standards and infection control policies
- Participate in orientation, complete required pre-start modules, and support departmental needs
- Other duties as assigned by the MRI department manager
