Key Qualifications — Operating Room Registered Nurse

• 2–3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including Cesarean (C-section) cases
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Pennsylvania RN License or Compact License required at submission
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required at submission

Responsibilities — OR Nurse / Surgical RN

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, assisting with Cesarean deliveries (C-sections) and a variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to intraoperative changes; maintain situational awareness as an OR nurse
• Maintain strict sterile technique and a safe operating room environment
• Accurately document perioperative patient care and surgical counts in the medical record
• Participate in specialty cases as needed, including pediatric OR, pediatric PACU, thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, and sub-acute cases
