• Location: Easton, MD (21601) – Eastern Shore
• Role: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN), Night Shift
• Setting: Telemetry Unit / Cardiac telemetry nursing
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30) — Telemetry RN night shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Travel RN)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: As scheduled

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition)
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission (Maryland nursing jobs)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• NIHSS and CPI certifications (CPI may be completed onsite during orientation)
• Epic charting experience preferred (electronic charting / EMR experience)
• Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Comfortable floating within specialty, to lower-acuity units, and to sister facility in Chestertown as needed
• Must provide two satisfactory professional references (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Permanent residence must be 50 miles or more from the facility

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with complex, multi-diagnoses in a fast-paced telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate telemetry nursing interventions
• Provide pre- and post-operative cardiac and neurosurgical nursing care
• Administer blood products, manage central and peripheral lines, and perform wound care
• Utilize unit protocols for IV insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips (no titration)
• Care for patients with respiratory failure, pneumonia, stroke, ACS, CHF, and renal failure
• Float to lower-acuity units and sister facility (Chestertown) as needed to support staffing
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more
• Maintain compliance with unit and facility policies, including PPE and isolation precautions
