Experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health travel contract in Spartanburg, SC. 13-week PTA job serving adult and geriatric patients with competitive weekly pay.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,260 – $1,360
• Location: Spartanburg, SC 29303 (Spartanburg, South Carolina – home health)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 14, 2026 – July 14, 2026)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Patient Census: Average 6 visits per day
• Travel Requirement: Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (locals within 75 miles not eligible)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Home Health PTA experience required (home health rehab, geriatric rehabilitation)
• South Carolina PTA license required (pending license accepted; must obtain prior to start)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience with electronic charting systems (EPIC preferred; other systems accepted)
• Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test at orientation
• All compliance documents due 5 business days prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide home health rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients in the community
• Deliver physical therapy interventions for orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical conditions
• Assist patients with mobility devices (crutches, gait belts, walkers, prosthetics) and fall-prevention strategies
• Implement individualized therapy plans under indirect supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in EPIC or other charting systems
• Communicate patient status and care plans with the interdisciplinary team (PT, social services, nursing, pharmacy, transportation)
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, attendance expectations, and all regulatory requirements
