Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or multistate compact RN license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ED RN or ER RN experience)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to complete onboarding health and competency requirements, including drug screen, N95 fit test, immunizations, and specialty-specific competency testing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department as an ER Registered Nurse
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per provider orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, respiratory therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health records
• Participate in weekend rotations and support departmental staffing needs as required
