• Role Type: Travel Nurse — Emergency Department / ER Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
• Location: Corsicana, TX 75110 (Corsicana healthcare / Texas travel nurse assignment)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Unit: EXT-Other (911), 14 beds — Emergency Department / Trauma
• EMR: MEDHOST-EDIS (ED documentation experience preferred)
• Parking: Convenient parking in front of the hospital

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience — Level IV Trauma Center experience required
• Scrubs: Any solid color
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (travel nurse eligibility)
• Permanent home address and Social Security Number required for submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED)
• Rapidly assess, triage, and manage patients with a variety of acute and trauma-related conditions
• Provide trauma care and emergency interventions appropriate to a Level IV Trauma Center
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, paramedics, ED techs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using MEDHOST-EDIS EMR and follow ED protocols
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards and quality measures
