• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 35

Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification/license (must meet state requirements)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient or rehabilitation setting (inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and improving functional outcomes

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and interventions to improve mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes accurately in the medical record/EMR, and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, safe transfers, and home exercise programs to support recovery
