• Position: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) – Travel
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 – $1,630
• Location: Nashville, TN (37203) — Nashville healthcare / Tennessee nursing jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a PCU, step-down, telemetry, or similar acute care nursing setting
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry/step-down monitoring when applicable
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge planning, and recovery expectations
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for patients and staff
