Med/Surg Telemetry Travel Nurse / Registered Nurse (RN) — 13-week contract in Lancaster, South Carolina (zip 29720). Day shift; Epic EMR; competitive weekly pay.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
• Location: Lancaster, SC (zip 29720) — South Carolina travel nursing opportunity
• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry RN / Tele RN (Travel Nurse)
• Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, Med/Surg Tele unit
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM); manager accepts 3x12s or 4x12s
• Hours per Week: 36 or 48 (manager will accept either 3x12s or 4x12s)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• EMR / Charting: Epic
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Registered Nurse)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Telemetry experience, including rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management, preferred
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / step-down experience strongly preferred to support floating needs
• Comfortable with Epic EMR documentation and hospital workflows
• Must complete all assigned modules and orientation prior to start date; attendance at staff meetings required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Continuous telemetry monitoring and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias per unit protocols
• Float to PCU and other like units as needed to support clinical operations
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:6–1:7 while ensuring safe, evidence-based care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Case Management, and Physicians
• Participate in rapid response events and support emergency preparedness (including hurricane season June–November)
• Complete required orientation, training modules, and competency assessments
