• Unit: 3 North – Med-Surg/Tele (Epilepsy Monitoring & Medical Overflow)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 4/19/2026 – End: 7/18/2026)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nursing Job

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry (Telemetry nursing experience required)
• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR within the last 12 months (must be documented on resume)
• Recent charge RN experience (must be documented on resume)
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Solid black scrubs required
• Compliance with onboarding health/professional requirements (MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, TB, Drug Screen, Background Check)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO); no RTO allowed during first two weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a 17-bed Med-Surg/Tele unit specializing in epilepsy monitoring and medical overflow
• Care for patients with substance abuse and other acute medical needs in a fast-paced environment
• Draw blood and start/manage IVs; perform routine Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing procedures
• Serve as charge nurse for some shifts (charge RN responsibilities expected)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 and ensure safe telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and NAs (typically 4 RNs and 2 NAs per shift)
• Float to other units as required and document care and assessments accurately in EPIC EMR
