• Role: PICC RN, Radiology Nurse, Interventional Radiology (IR) PICC Unit
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract / travel nurse assignment
• Setting: Acute Care – Radiology / IR / Vascular Access
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day shift (8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour days)
• Charting System: EPIC (experience a plus)
• Scrubs: Blue scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia (WV) — willing to wait for license or process compact/Vy
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• PICC certification required (Bard PICC Cert preferred) or equivalent PICC training
• Minimum 1 year experience in IV access, PICC insertion, and vascular access procedures
• Comfortable with ultrasound-guided vascular access (SiteRite Ultrasound)
• Experience with EPIC charting is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PICC insertions using ultrasound guidance and Sherlock tip confirmation
• Insert ultrasound-guided midlines and establish peripheral IV access hospital-wide
• Provide port access and access management in CT and MRI settings
• Manage daily caseload (typically 4–5 PICC/midline procedures per day plus IVs and port accesses)
• Collaborate with Radiology Supervisor, in-house Radiologist, and interprofessional teams
• Participate in department orientation, competency validation, and mandatory education
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in EPIC and follow vascular access policies
