Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
• Location: Marianna, FL 32446 — Florida Panhandle (local travel nursing, Florida nursing jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 27, 2026 – June 26, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p–7a) — ICU travel nurse / night shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Setting: Acute Care ICU (including COVID ICU, PCU, and MedSurg COVID units)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience — Critical Care RN with ventilator and trach experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of Florida or compact RN as applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Proficiency with critical care drips, sedation management, and intubations
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips and manage dysrhythmias
• Flexibility to float between ICU, PCU, and COVID units based on acuity
• Comfortable caring for a wide variety of diagnoses (COVID, DKA, Sepsis, CHF, COPD, trauma, post-op)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in ICU and COVID units as a travel ICU RN
• Manage ventilated and trached patients, including continuous monitoring and ventilator interventions
• Administer and titrate critical care drips and sedation per protocols
• Perform patient assessments, interpret cardiac strips, and respond to rapid response/Code situations
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and physician teams for coordinated critical care
• Float between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg COVID units to meet hospital needs and changing acuity
• Participate in unit orientation and adapt to evolving unit workflows and requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using CPSI - Evident Thrive EMR
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation when scheduled
• Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork; assist with bedside tasks as needed
