Travel ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Wilson, NC. 13-week travel nursing assignment (12-hour nights) for experienced Emergency Department nurses with ACLS/BLS/PALS. Join a Joint Commission accredited, 26-bed ED near Raleigh and the NC coast.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 (45 miles east of Raleigh; close to the coast, major universities, and Lake Wilson)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 5, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (19:00 – 07:00) — travel nurse night shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Orientation: Bi-weekly start dates

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience — ER nurse, acute care, emergency medicine preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Active RN license (NC license or multistate compact RN eligible preferred)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced 26-bed Emergency Department (ED nurse duties)
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 (adjusted for acuity) and triage ED patients effectively
• Care for diverse patient populations: geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• Respond to common ED diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related issues, and hypertensive emergencies
• Utilize GE monitors and standard emergency department equipment; maintain competency in common ED procedures
• Float to similar assignments within the facility as needed
• Maintain professional appearance (scrub color: any)
