• Shift: Day/Evening, Thursday – Sunday, 12-hour shifts (06:40 – 19:10)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: On-site, Acute Care CVOR / Cardiac OR
• Parking: Permit required; multiple transportation options available

Job Requirements (CVOR RN / Travel Nurse)

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within the last 3 years
• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submittal)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Experience with Epic charting / Epic EMR
• Clinical experience in thoracic, transplant, vascular, or cardiac service lines (competency score of 3 or above)
• Ability to float/circulate to all service lines including trauma and emergency cases (Trauma Level I/II experience preferred)
• Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Preferred: Previous charge experience and prior operating room or CVOR travel nurse assignments

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and multispecialty cases, including ECMO, transplant, endovascular, and trauma procedures
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Operating Room team to plan, coordinate, and deliver timely patient care
• Coordinate and communicate OR activities to ensure efficient surgical case progression, room turnover, and patient safety
• Float and provide circulating/scrub support across all service lines as needed, including trauma and emergency cases
• Utilize Epic for accurate charting, documentation, and handoffs
• Participate in orientation, competency testing, and unit-specific training as required
