Job Details – Travel Nursing (Labor & Delivery)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,600
• Location: Viroqua, WI 54665 (Viroqua, Wisconsin)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Maternity Unit — Post Partum, Labor & Delivery
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks (April 6, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend (Fri–Sun)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Job Requirements – Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

• Active RN license (Nursing)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or Post Partum nursing
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills for emergent maternal-newborn situations

Key Responsibilities – L&D / Postpartum Nursing

• Provide comprehensive perinatal and postpartum care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and post-partum periods
• Monitor patient progress, assess maternal and neonatal status, and respond to emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams in the maternity unit
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn health, breastfeeding support, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
