• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Location: Vicksburg, MS (Zip: 39183) — Mississippi travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends — night shift RN, Med/Surg unit
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site clinical position

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience — Medical-Surgical RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility (travel contract requirement)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital policies and safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing and continuity of care
