Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – 13-week contract in Kansas City, KS (66160). Active ARRT (Radiography) required. Work with Siemens Artis systems in a collaborative hospital IR unit offering a stable schedule and competitive weekly pay.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670 (travel radiology job)
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology (Cambridge Unit)
• Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 — Kansas City radiology jobs / Kansas healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
• On-Call: Late call required (5:00pm–9:00pm, up to once a week)
• Weekend/Holiday: No weekend or holiday requirements
• Orientation: Monday & Tuesday, plus bi-weekly nursing orientation (Wednesday–Friday)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) and scrub experience required (IR tech / Rad Tech)
• Peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred (neuro cases emphasis)
• Experience in large hospital settings preferred
• Active ARRT Radiography certification required
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required (may apply once offered)
• Nicotine-free facility (must be nicotine-free during assignment)
• Must submit credentials one week prior to start

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, primarily neuro cases and light body cases (drains, lines, GT tubes)
• Operate Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee systems (single-plane)
• Support a four-room IR unit averaging 7–8 light neuro cases and 2 interventional cases per day
• Float to Bell IR as needed and collaborate across radiology teams
• Participate in late call rotation as required and maintain prompt response standards
• Attend orientation, maintain compliance with facility protocols, and document procedures accurately
