- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery RN / L&D RN (Registered Nurse)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
- Location: Princeton, WV 24740 — Princeton WV travel nursing / West Virginia nursing jobs
- Setting: Women's Center – Labor & Delivery (L&D) / Mother-Baby (MB) / Postpartum (PP)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 28, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), weekends as scheduled
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Scrubs: Provided in-house
Required Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) license
- Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience (L&D nursing / perinatal nursing)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) Certification
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and maternal-newborn best practices
- Experience across Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum care
- Skill in titrating drips (Oxytocin, Insulin, Epidural)
- Ability to circulate and recover Cesarean Sections preferred
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry and fetal monitoring strips
- Available for 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule (on-call response within 30 minutes)
- Submission must include a copy of candidate's unexpired driver's license
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal-newborn care for laboring mothers and newborns in a 12-bed L&D unit
- Assess and monitor patients with conditions such as gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia
- Deliver skilled antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care
- Titrate and manage IV drips (Oxytocin, Insulin, Epidural) per protocol
- Circulate and recover Cesarean Sections as needed
- Read and interpret fetal monitoring and telemetry strips to support safe deliveries
- Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, house supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete unit-specific orientation and adhere to department policies and AWHONN standards
- Work every other weekend and either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day as scheduled
