• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19141 — Philadelphia nursing jobs, Philadelphia healthcare opportunities
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Position: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse / CVOR RN
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (06:45 – 17:00); 40 hours per week
• On Call: 1-2 days per week, 1 weekend per month, holiday on-call as needed
• Scrubs: Provided

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent CVOR RN experience in cardiovascular operating room and thoracic cases
• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate for all CVOR cases
• Level I Trauma experience required — experience with high-acuity surgical patients
• Travel nursing experience required (previous travel RN assignments preferred)
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner (Surginet) documentation preferred
• Influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, including complex cardiac cases
• Provide perioperative care as a CVOR RN in a Level I Trauma environment
• Float to general OR and to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery for cardiac cases as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during holidays
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including anesthesia, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and surgical techs
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Cerner (Surginet) and adhere to charting standards
• Follow infection control, safety, and universal protocols to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
