• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Location: State College, PA 16801 — State College healthcare / Pennsylvania nursing jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 28, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and holiday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (Compact license holders: verify state requirements)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required — ICU RN / Critical Care RN experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC experience preferred (facility transitioning from Meditech to EPIC)

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care based on AACN Standards for critically ill patients — critical care nursing and ICU patient management
• Conduct comprehensive health histories and focused physical assessments for critically ill patients
• Prioritize patient needs and develop individualized care plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Manage life-threatening complications and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and emergencies
• Assist with temporary pacemaker insertion and coordinate ambulance transport as needed
• Maintain current knowledge and skills in critical care practice, policies, and procedures
• Participate in mandatory education, annual competency fairs, and unit-based training
