• Shift: Days, 4x9 (06:45 – 16:15), 36 hours/week
• On-Call: 50% call required, including every other weekend and holidays
• Clinical Area: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology
• Equipment: Artis Zee C-Arm, Impella, Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS
• Scrubs: Hospital provided (light blue)

Qualifications / Cath Lab Tech Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience (peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures)
• At least one completed travel contract in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Proficient with fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment (IVUS, iFR)
• ARRT (CI or CV) or CCI – RCIS certification required
• Iowa Radiology license (may apply at offer acceptance)
• BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Completed skills checklist for Cardiac Cath discipline
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within past 24 months preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with peripheral and coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and pacemaker insertions
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced Cath Lab equipment (Artis Zee C-Arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS)
• Maintain proficiency with fluoroscopy, radiation safety, and cardiac imaging protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, as part of the travel cath lab tech team
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
