Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 28, 2026 – July 25, 2026)

- Setting: Hospital – Adult ICUs, Cardiac Critical Care, Level II Trauma ED, Intermediate Care, General Medical Floors
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with recent critical care or ventilator management experience preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven skills in airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, and non-invasive ventilation
- Experience with adult patient populations; pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory
- Comfortable participating in code blue and rapid response teams
- First-time travel RTs are welcome to apply — supportive orientation and RT Educator onboarding provided
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to adult patients across ICUs, cardiac critical care, trauma, intermediate care, and general medical floors
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and airway devices (equipment includes Servo U, Servo I, Hamilton T1, Trilogy, V60, V30, EV300, Vero Biotech Nitric Delivery)
- Perform ABG puncture and analysis and interpret blood gas results
- Administer inhaled medications, provide non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and titrate respiratory therapies per protocols
- Respond to code blue and rapid response situations as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Float to other trained units as needed and complete unit-specific orientation shifts
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner charting system
- Work every other weekend and be available for voluntary on-call assignments as needed
