• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Chariton, IA (50049) — Iowa travel nursing opportunity
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (Fri–Sun, 6:00pm – 6:30am; works 5 out of 6 weekends)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract
• Setting: Acute Care / Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)

RN Qualifications (Requirements)

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Iowa
• Minimum 2 years of acute care or Med-Surg nursing experience
• Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and IV skills expected
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an Acute Care RN under limited supervision
• Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care for Med-Surg patients
• Administer medications and intravenous solutions accurately and safely
• Use clinical data to prioritize patients' physical, psychological, educational, and discharge needs
• Implement physicians' orders and nursing plans of care; adapt plans based on patient/family responses
• Perform timely, accurate documentation in patient records (electronic charting)
• Support and enforce infection control policies and safety procedures
• Participate in orientation, in-service training, team meetings, and other unit activities
• Work independently as a travel nurse with limited direct supervision; other duties as assigned
