• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,800 – $2,940 (competitive travel nurse pay)

• Contract Duration: 4 weeks (travel contract)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: May 4, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour days (Mon–Fri, 06:50–15:30 or 06:50–17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-site Position: In-person Operating Room RN role
• Call Requirements: 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks (Fri evening, Sat & Sun) and 1 weekday evening call per week (weekday call 15:30–07:00)
• Orientation: 3 days

Job Requirements (OR RN / Perioperative Nurse)

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing (perioperative nurse / surgical RN) experience
• Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
• Strong skills in orthopedics and general surgery; eye and GYN experience preferred
• Ability to circulate and scrub (scrub highly preferred; strong circulators accepted)
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible)
• All-season or snow tires recommended November–April

Responsibilities (Operating Room RN / Surgical RN)

• Provide perioperative care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a 5-suite OR
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, general, eye, GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology
• Assist with C-sections (training provided if needed)
• Collaborate with OR assistants, surgery schedulers, RNFAs, and CRNAs as part of the surgical team
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and Pyxis/Med Room for medication management
• Maintain hospital-provided surgical attire and adhere to dress code standards
• Participate in call rotations and adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs
