Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (state license or Nurse Licensure Compact preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with IV medication administration, critical care drips, and acute care interventions
• Comfort triaging and managing high-acuity patients; psychiatric unit exposure a plus
• Ability to float to Henderson ED occasionally
• Familiarity with Paragon EHR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED)
• Triage, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across acuity levels
• Administer IV medications and manage critical care drips; monitor responses and document appropriately
• Stabilize acute and critical patients and coordinate transfers when necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, labs, radiology, and psychiatry, to ensure optimal outcomes
• Accurate documentation using Paragon EHR and adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and participate in quality improvement initiatives
