Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 (Competitive travel RN pay)
• Location: Springdale, AR 72764 — Northwest Arkansas / Ozarks
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN – Psychiatric/Behavioral Health
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 20, 2026

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Arkansas RN license or multistate compact RN license (must be valid for assignment)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health / psychiatric RN experience caring for adult patients
• SAMA certification (can be completed at the facility if needed)
• Preferred: experience with de-escalation, crisis intervention, medication administration in a behavioral health setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult psychiatric patients using the Nursing Process
• Assess psychiatric symptoms, monitor behavioral changes, and implement individualized care plans
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership when planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and facility-required trainings
• Delegate patient care tasks and prioritize assignments based on staff education and experience
• Directly supervise and collaborate with assigned personnel delivering patient care on the behavioral health unit
