Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (travel nurse pay)
• Location: Le Mars, IA 51031 — Iowa travel nurse opportunity
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital / hospital nursing
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (weekday, weekend, holiday rotation)
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse

Qualifications (Required)

• Active RN license — Iowa RN or compact (multistate) RN license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent OB / Labor & Delivery experience required (OB RN, L&D RN)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holiday rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Med/Surg and prior Charge RN responsibilities preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience and familiarity with Critical Access Hospital workflows a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in obstetrics, including labor & delivery and postpartum care (Labor & Delivery RN duties)
• Support medical-surgical units (Med/Surg RN responsibilities) when OB patient volumes are low
• Serve as Charge RN during assigned shifts, coordinating unit workflow and staff assignment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold hospital standards and policies
• Participate in holiday and weekend coverage per rotation schedule
