- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 – $2,890
- Location: Plymouth, MA (02360) — Massachusetts nursing jobs, South Shore healthcare
- Setting: Endoscopy Unit / GI Procedure Room
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (7:00am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Type: Travel Contract (travel nurse job)
- Float Required: No
- Orientation: Biweekly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience, including procedure room, pre-op, and post-op care
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
- EPIC EMR experience required (experience with electronic health records / EPIC preferred)
- Must pass ECG/Tele and Medication competency tests (administered via Zoom prior to assignment; 85% passing score, one attempt only)
- CPR certification (AHA)
- Procedure room and GI endoscopy experience is a must (endoscopy nursing, GI nurse, procedure room nurse)
- No local travelers — candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last 6 months must have a 6-month separation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, including pre-op assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-op monitoring
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after endoscopic and GI procedures
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage sedation per facility protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
- Maintain a safe, sterile environment in the procedure room and follow infection control standards
- Prepare patients and families for procedures, providing education, support, and discharge instructions
