Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure (licensed PT in Texas)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital or acute care physical therapy experience required
• Strong clinical skills in hospital-based care and rehab specialties such as Women’s Health, Vestibular, and Pelvic Rehab
• Ability to work independently as a travel PT and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication, patient education, and documentation skills for clinical and electronic health record (EHR) systems

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for inpatient populations (acute care PT)
• Provide specialized therapy services in Women’s Health, Vestibular, Pelvic Rehab, and general hospital-based rehabilitation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, mobility, and recovery strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in the EHR
