Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Location: Claremont, NH (03743) — New Hampshire travel nursing job
• Setting: Med-Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Patient Population: Newborn to Geriatric
• RN/Patient Ratio: 5:1 (Med Surg/Tele), 3:1 or 4:1 (PCU, higher acuity)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia identification required
• Active ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) required
• Basic dysrhythmia test required (upload to profile)
• Valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Skills checklists for Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (current to 1 year)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Previous travel nursing experience and rural/small facility experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage higher-acuity PCU patients
• Traveler must have reliable personal vehicle and permanent address included in profile
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission (max 5 days for 13-week assignment)
• Facility will not consider candidates who reside within 50 miles of Claremont, NH

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across Med-Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units (telemetry nursing, progressive care)
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Manage patient care for a diverse population, from newborns to geriatrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, state regulations, and travel nurse requirements
• Demonstrate adaptability and independence in a small, rural hospital setting
