Travel Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Night shift in Charleston, SC. 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital—ideal for ARRT(R)-certified technologists seeking travel radiology jobs and radiologic technologist positions in Charleston, South Carolina.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,420 – $1,530
- Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (Charleston, South Carolina)
- Job Type: Travel Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech (Night Shift)
- Setting: Teaching Hospital, Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-call: Call rotation required (3–4 days/month)
- Orientation: First week may include day shifts for orientation
- Scrub Color: Teal top / Black bottoms
- Charting / EMR: Epic
- Parking: Nights/weekends only, one-time $20 pass
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech / Radiologic Technologist) experience
- Experience with O/C-Arm (C-arm) procedures required
- ARRT (R) certification required; SCRQSA (R) registration required
- BLS certification required
- Radiation badge required (must be supplied by agency)
- Travel radiology experience preferred; first-time travel technologists accepted
- Ability to float within campus buildings and participate in call rotation
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiology procedures including bedside/portable imaging, trauma imaging, and pediatric/adult outpatient studies
- Operate O/C-Arm (C-arm) equipment and assist with clinical X-ray track procedures
- Provide imaging services across the lifespan: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult
- Adhere to isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and radiation safety standards
- Participate in call rotation and float to other buildings on campus as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and emergency teams in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment
- Complete required orientation modules and comply with facility onboarding and Epic charting requirements
- Be prepared to support emergency response efforts during hurricane season (June–November)
