CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel contract in Charleston, South Carolina: 13-week travel nursing assignment at a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital. Ideal for experienced perioperative, operating room (OR) and vascular OR nurses with EPIC charting skills and advanced vascular procedure experience.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
- Location: Charleston, SC 29425 — Charleston nursing jobs, South Carolina travel nursing; enjoy coastal living, historic sites, and a vibrant food scene.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (06:30 – 19:00), Monday–Friday (36 hours/week)
- On-call: Required, 6–8 calls per month including weekends and possible holiday call
- Float: May be required to float to similar units
- Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
- Charting / EMR: EPIC
CVOR Registered Nurse Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR / perioperative RN experience; travel CVOR nurses preferred
- Must be able to scrub and circulate complex open and endovascular vascular cases (FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, Thrombectomy, AV fistulas, etc.)
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-state RN license (must be in hand at start)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Previous charge, trauma, and community hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers not preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Responsibilities — CVOR / Vascular OR Nurse
- Scrub and circulate for complex open and endovascular vascular procedures (TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, AV Fistula, etc.)
- Provide high-quality perioperative patient care in the CVOR setting as an experienced Operating Room RN
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Float to similar units when required and collaborate across surgical teams
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Unit Secretary)
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC (electronic health record)
- Adhere to facility policies, including emergency response protocols during hurricane season (June–November)
