Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required – must be an experienced Surgical Technologist
• Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Tech experience in hospital OR settings
• BLS certification required
• Required service line experience: ENT, neuro, thoracic, and robotics
• Experience in additional specialties preferred: plastics (flaps/microvascular), endoscopic procedures, craniotomy/skull base, colorectal, vascular, orthopedic
• Preferred: Trauma Level I & II and community hospital experience
• Ability to provide two professional references (one must be a manager/director or formal leader; no coworker references)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team in a busy operating room as a Surgical Technologist / OR Tech
• Prepare operating rooms for a wide range of procedures, including abdominal, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, colorectal, and robotic surgeries
• Scrub and circulate when needed; maintain aseptic technique and proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment
• Support perioperative patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations
• Participate in call coverage and weekend staffing as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality surgical care and ensure patient safety
• Adhere to strict compliance, credentialing deadlines, and hospital policies
