Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,010 – $2,120
• Location: Concord, NH 03301 (Concord Hospital system; Merrimack Valley, New Hampshire)
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks (Start: 4/20/2026 – End: 6/13/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (night shift travel nurse)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel assignment / Travel Nursing Job

PCU Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown RN experience
• Active New Hampshire (NH) RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current, up-to-date resume documenting relevant PCU/Stepdown and travel nursing experience
• Two recent Charge/Manager RN references
• Completed skills checklist matching PCU specialty
• NURSYS report available for license verification
• EMR experience with Cerner preferred (not required)
• Ability to float within the Concord Hospital system to Laconia or Franklin as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions on the stepdown unit, recognizing changes and escalating appropriately
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, and manage cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Perform accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and medication administration in the EMR
• Respond to clinical emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers
• Adapt to floating assignments across the Concord Hospital network as directed
• Communicate effectively with patients and family members to support patient-centered care
