• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), rotating weekends
• Hours per Week: 36

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license (state license pending considered) — Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Responsibilities — Med/Surg RN Duties

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit as a Registered Nurse
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (electronic medical record)
• Float to other units as needed; demonstrate flexibility across hospital departments
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, safety protocols, and dress code
