Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 – $2,120
- Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Boston radiology jobs, Boston healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
- Shift: Day Shift, Monday & Wednesday, 7:30am – 8:00pm
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week

Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required (Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Technologist)
- Valid Radiologic Technologist state license for MA required
- ARRT Registered Technologist (ARRT-R) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
- 1–2 years of radiology technology experience required; prior travel radiology or hospital experience a plus
- Proficient in radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and imaging equipment operation (X-ray, CT, MRI)
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles, ALARA practices, and imaging protocols
- Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stand/walk frequently during shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other radiographic exams) according to physician orders
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety during exams
- Operate and adjust imaging equipment to capture optimal diagnostic images; review images for technical accuracy
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with radiology team members to maintain workflow
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures to minimize exposure
- Maintain accurate patient records, document procedures, and utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for data entry and retrieval
- Communicate results and concerns to radiologists and clinical teams as appropriate
