- Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Hospital setting
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
- Location: Santa Fe, NM (87505) — hospital occupational therapy job
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour days, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 40

Job Requirements (Licensed Occupational Therapist)
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapy license (licensed OT in NM)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy clinical experience required
- Strong skills in assessment/evaluation, clinical decision-making, and time management
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for patient care and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing/walking as needed in a hospital OT role
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy (OT) assessment and intervention for patients with illness, injury, developmental, or psychological impairments affecting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Assist patients in regaining, developing, and learning skills to maximize independence and functional outcomes
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy plans of care and treatment goals
- Administer appropriate occupational therapy modalities and document clinical progress in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members (nursing, PT, SLP, physicians) throughout the care process
- Promote joint and energy conservation techniques and prevention of further joint damage
- Maintain a safe, clean, and smoke-free environment consistent with hospital policies
