Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 – $2,060
• Position: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Hospital SLP
• Setting: Hospital / Long-Term Care (LTC)
• Location: Potosi, MO 63664 — Missouri SLP jobs / travel SLP
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (start time between 6AM and 10AM; consistent scheduling with DOR)
• Hours per Week: 35
• On-Call: No call
• Weekends: No weekends required

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of SLP clinical experience (hospital, SNF, or LTC experience preferred)
• Experience in a leadership role within a SNF/LTC rehab setting (scheduling or DOR duties)
• Knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) and PDPM documentation
• Active Missouri State SLP License (mandatory)
• New graduates not accepted

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders
• Provide clinical leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA
• Take on Director of Rehab (DOR) responsibilities such as scheduling, staff coordination, and attendance at facility meetings
• Ensure accurate SLP clinical documentation and compliance with PDPM and federal, state, and facility regulations
• Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity and long-term care patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics related to SLP services
