• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 – $1,750 (competitive travel respiratory therapist pay)
• Location: Lima, Ohio (45801) — Northwest Ohio healthcare role
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Respiratory Therapist
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (18:00 – 06:30) — night shift respiratory therapist
• Setting: Hospital — acute care, ICU and inpatient respiratory care

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist (acute care/critical care experience preferred)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapy license
• ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Strong skills in ventilator management, airway management, and pulmonary function testing

Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients following medical staff protocols and department policies
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation, ventilator settings and weaning protocols
• Maintain airways, perform intubations and assist with invasive airway procedures
• Insert arterial lines and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
• Deliver medicated aerosols and oxygen therapy using medical compressed gases
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac/pulmonary stress testing and other respiratory diagnostics
