Job Details (Travel RN – Ithaca, NY)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 — Upstate New York nursing jobs
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Travel RN / Night Shift)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)

Job Requirements (Qualifications)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care RN experience (ICU RN, Med-Surg RN, or ED RN experience preferred)
- Ability to float independently to at least 2 units: ICU, Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), Emergency Department (ED)
- Applicants able to float to all 3 units (ICU, Med-Surg, ED) are highly preferred
- Active RN license (Compact or state RN licensure as required for New York)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification – required
- NIHSS certification – required
- TNCC certification – required
- Experience with Epic EMR (electronic medical record) – required
Responsibilities (Acute Care / Float RN)
- Float between ICU, Med-Surg, and ED units based on facility needs as an Acute Care Float RN
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute and critical care settings (triage, patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring)
- Adapt to varying schedules and unit assignments each week as part of a travel nursing assignment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation, orders, and patient management
