• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Location: Bowling Green, KY 42104 — Bowling Green, Kentucky (Southern KY travel nursing)
• Setting: Telemetry Unit (36 beds)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Role Type: Travel Nurse / Telemetry RN

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or state license as required)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
• Advanced telemetry skills: dysrhythmia recognition and chest tube management
• Experience with Alaris pumps and cardiac monitor interpretation
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation preferred
• Ability to float to Ortho and Med-Surg units as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and assess patients on remote telemetry systems; interpret arrhythmias and notify providers per policy
• Administer medications safely and manage infusion devices, including Alaris pumps
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures such as chest tube care, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Maintain appropriate patient assignments (typically 4:1 with cath recovery; may be 6:1–7:1 as needed)
• Collaborate with patient care technicians (PCTs), unit clerks, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit policies, maintain high patient satisfaction, and contribute to a positive, award-winning team culture
