Job Details — Travel Nursing Job

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800 (travel nursing pay)
• Location: Rosedale, MD 21237 (Baltimore-area, Maryland)
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (48 beds)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 5, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30 - 07:00), 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other holidays during contract
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Scrubs: Navy Blue (not provided)
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)

Required Qualifications — Med/Surg Tele RN

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (clinical telemetry, medical-surgical nurse)
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required (travel nurse experience)
• Active RN license (Maryland or compact state)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam: 80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms
• Comfortable caring for patients after gender affirmation surgery (experience preferred, not required)
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic medical record experience)
• Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Responsibilities — Telemetry Nurse / Medical-Surgical RN

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage telemetry including remote monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management
• Perform central line care, PICC line management, IV starts/maintenance, and phlebotomy
• Administer blood products and manage feeding tubes, surgical drains, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as required by the facility
• Document care accurately using Cerner (preferred) or other EMR systems
