• Healthcare Setting: 300-bed acute care community hospital (ER, adult med/surg, adult critical care)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour (18:15 – 06:45)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call
• Charting: Epic charting system required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT preferred)
• Valid New Hampshire state license required (candidates with license pending will be considered)
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Epic charting experience required for this travel RT assignment
• Experience in trauma, community hospital, emergency department (ER), and adult ICU settings required
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, CRTT, RRT
• Pediatric and acute care pediatric experience preferred; neonate to geriatric patient care capabilities valued
• Preferred ventilator experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, LTV 1200/HT70

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy across ER, adult med/surg, and adult critical care units as a travel respiratory therapist
• Administer nebulized treatments, chest physiotherapy (CPT), high-flow oxygen, noninvasive ventilation (NIV), cough assist, and IPV
• Assist with intubations, bronchoscopies, and in-house transport of mechanically ventilated patients
• Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and continuous albuterol therapy
• Perform airway management, medication administration, arterial blood gases (ABGs), O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and specimen collection
• Provide care for pediatric ER and pediatric patients when competency is demonstrated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (nursing, physicians, transport, respiratory therapy staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
